Art Therapy Guelph is run by Heather Caruso, a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Trauma Counselor, and Registered Canadian Art Therapist (RCAT) in Cambridge and the Kitchener-Waterloo region. They approached us to increase their awareness, enhance their website and acquire genuine leads for their mental health clinic. The aim was to create a powerful online presence that points to their mission of developing a healthy environment via art while bringing potential clients on board.
The main challenge that Art Therapy Guelph faced when coming to us was, in fact, credibility and trust, in addition to the lack of awareness of their services since art therapy itself is a unique service. Despite offering an innovative way for individuals to heal through art therapy, many people were unaware of its potential benefits or how easily they could access these services.
Every component of the approach needed to be carefully planned because it was a unique project with a tight budget to increase reach while maintaining cost-effectiveness. To make treatment seem more approachable and attainable, we concentrated on raising knowledge of the ease and efficacy of art therapy as well as the accessibility of art therapy services.
In this phase, we initially planned for Art Therapy Guelph's website to be a canvas that represents the individual growth that clients experience while acquiring its services.
As the website reflects the process of healing, we designed a website with both appealing features where people could emotionally connect with the idea of art therapy.
We included 10 High-Intended keywords that depict creative and therapeutic processes available on the website to ensure search engines can display the site to individuals seeking useful mental health resources.
This phase was to come up with a fun, active, and easily interactive online platform that could enable them to raise and receive information about their art therapy endeavors.
With a renewed website live, our focus shifted to content development that praises creativity and community.
We launched a series of engaging blogs highlighting the benefits of art therapy, featuring insights into the therapeutic process. These blogs serve as both educational resources and inspirational stories that demonstrate the influence of art in healing.
Apart from that, we established 200 quality backlinks to enhance the website’s authority and reach, connecting Art Therapy Guelph with other reputable sites in the mental health and wellness community.
This phase was designed to enable a sense of community, encouraging potential clients to explore how art therapy can positively impact their lives
In this phase, we launched focused digital marketing campaigns to highlight the unique value of Art Therapy Guelph.
We developed visually engaging awareness ads to encourage potential clients to experience the process and benefits of art therapy firsthand. To boost interaction, we introduced an engagement campaign with interactive features like quizzes about personal art preferences, inviting users to deepen their connection with the therapeutic process. This approach not only increased interest but also educated audiences on art therapy, guiding them to our website and converting interest into tangible leads.
Overcoming initial obstacles regarding ad spending thresholds, we improved Meta and Google Ads campaigns to maintain effective outreach while working within budgetary limitations. We had a $1,000 to $1,500 monthly budget using high-intent keywords to effectively attract traffic with highly optimized lead forms, making it easy for potential clients to connect with their services.
This creative approach aimed to convert engagement into meaningful appointments, increasing the clinic’s patient flow while celebrating the art therapy experience.
